Abstract
The book is divided into eight informative and illuminating chapters, each provided with sections dealing with cognitive and affective explorations as well as psychomotor activities chiefly motivate and encourage students to appreciate and learn.
Chapter 1 presents the starting points in the understanding of culture, society, and politics. The three are scientifically defined based on the disciplines of anthropology, sociology and political science.

Chapter 5 covers wide range of topics though primarily focused on the development of political institutions.
Chapter 6 delves on the socioeconomic and cultural institutions with substantial discussion on education, religion, health, economy, and mass media.
Chapter 7 likewise on colaborates components of chapter 5 and chapter 6 by zeroing on social mobility, patterns, and social inequality.
Chapter 8 brings to light responses to social, cultural,and political change through innovation, acculturation, and diffusion.It also highlights contemporary changes such as climate change and global warming, also highlights contemporary change such as climate change and global warming, transnational migration, and formation of participatory democracy and social movements in both local and global scale.
